Kaarina Uusitalo + Samppa Uimonen
Samppa Uimonen is known as the Kalevala singer. Kalevala is the
Finish national epos which wandering bards hand down until last
century in which all of its poems were collected and printed.
Kalevala is translated in many foreign languages. Samppa plays
the Kantele, the Finish national instrument. You see him playing
the big concert Kantele with 36 strings. In front you see the
old style with 5 strings.

Samppa Uimonen ist als Kalevala-Sänger bekannt. Kalevala ist
das finnische Nationalepos, das von wandernden Sängern bis ins
vorige Jahrhundert überliefert wurde, in dem die Gedichte
gesammelt und gedruckt wurden. Kalevala wurde in viele Sprachen
übersetzt. Samppa spielt die Kantele, das finnische
Nationalinstrument. Man sieht ihn hier die große Konzertkantele
mit 36 Saiten spielen. Vorn sieht man die alte Form der Kantele
mit 5 Saiten.
